Formula E is all set to host its first double-header in Jeddah, and there is more than just the Round 4 and Round 5 races lined up. After the two races, Jeddah will also see the return of Formula E EVO Sessions on February 15, during which some of the world’s most-followed creators will try their hands at the GEN3 Evo cars.
Ten creators with a combined reach of 300 million have been selected to take part in the special one-day event. The event enables them to gain a new experience and helps Formula E reach a younger, entertainment-hungry audience chasing the next big thing.
What are Formula E Evo Sessions?
The social media creators will be divided into two teams for the Formula E EVO Sessions, named Senor Frogs and QuickStars. They will compete on track, after which the winner from each team will take part in a duel.
Among the participants is the YouTube racing collective Senor Frogs, led by TheBurntChip, along with Behzinga, WillNE, Arthur TV, and Izzy Hammond. Team QuickStars will be captained by Vikkstar, with the full roster set to be revealed on February 7.For the EVO Sessions, Formula E has partnered with Arcade, the management and production powerhouse behind the Sidemen, the UK’s most influential creator collective with over 21 million subscribers.
Last year, MrBeast kicked off the inaugural Formula E EVO Sessions in March. The GEN3 Evo proved to be too challenging for the extreme taskmaster, as he ended up crashing into the barriers on just his second lap. The moment went viral on social media.

Explaining the concept of the event, Formula E Chief Executive Officer Jeff Dodds said, “EVO Sessions is about pushing motorsport into places it’s never been before. By putting the world’s most influential content creators into the GEN3 Evo car and giving them a genuine competitive format, we’re opening Formula E to hundreds of millions of new fans in a way that feels authentic, exciting, and bold.
This year, we’ve really stepped up a gear to create what we know will be a truly entertaining experience for fans to follow.
It’s never happened before in motorsport, and we are proud to be leading the way.”Formula E Chief Marketing Officer Ellie Norman added, “This is what the future of sport looks like. Content creators are how the new generation of fans discover and connect with sport. Evolving EVO to work with some of the world's biggest content creators is critical to our growth strategy and will allow us to reach new audiences and bring new fans into Formula E as we strive to become the defining youth culture of motorsport.
While working with Arcade, the great minds behind the internet sensation the Sidemen, allows us to bridge the gap between elite performance and YouTube culture. We are co-creating the defining youth culture of sport in real time.”The EVO Sessions will be streamed live on Formula E’s YouTube channel. Also read: Porsche’s Nico Muller on Miami E-Prix pole and podium: “Big relief to prove it to myself”
