Police reportedly said the couple fought over a planned trip to Ajmer just hours before Twisha Sharma was found hanging at their residence in Bhopal on May 12.

In a big claim during police interrogation, Twisha Sharma’s husband Samarth Singh said that the couple fought over a trip to Ajmer just hours before Twisha’s death. According to a report by NDTV, police said tensions had become frequent in the couple’s five-month marriage, with arguments reportedly occurring regularly. Police added that the couple had also fought over a planned trip to Ajmer in Rajasthan just hours before Twisha Sharma was found hanging at their residence in Bhopal on May 12.

After Twisha Sharma’s pregnancy was confirmed on April 17, her husband, Samarth Singh, allegedly told police that her behavior began to change. His statement differed from earlier claims suggesting that repeated questions about the unborn child’s father had caused her emotional distress.

Second Post-Mortem To Be Conducted Today

Acting on a direction of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, AIIMS Delhi has formed a medical board comprising four senior doctors to conduct the second autopsy of Twisha, who was allegedly harassed for dowry and died here on May 12. The team flew to Bhopal on Saturday.

Among the concerns raised by her family are alleged blunt force injuries on Twisha’s left arm and forearm, the absence of a detailed dissection to assess the depth and age of injuries, and lack of radiological examination of the neck and cervical structures.
