Telangana Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha on Thursday, April 9 laid the foundation stone for a 100-bed Critical Care Block at Kondapur Area Hospital in Hyderabad, as part of efforts to strengthen advanced healthcare services in the city’s expanding IT corridor.

The ₹41 crore facility will be developed with modern medical infrastructure and fast-tracked timelines, aimed at addressing the rising healthcare needs of the region. The Minister observed that lifestyle-related health conditions have been increasing in the IT hub due to sedentary work patterns, underlining the need for improved critical care services.
