The four newly-appointed judges of the Telangana High Court, Justices Gouse Meera Mohiuddin, Suddala Chalapathi Rao, Vakiti Ramakrishna Reddy and Gadi Praveen, assumed charge on Thursday.
Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh administered the oath of office to them. After the swearing-in ceremony was over, the CJ and Justice Moushumi Bhattacharya sat with Justice Mohiuddin and Justice Gadi Praveen respectively for hearing cases.
Justices P. Sam Koshy and Abhinand Kumar Shavili sat with Justices Chalapathi Rao and Ramakrishna Reddy respectively, for hearing cases for the day.
Meanwhile, Justice T. Vinod Kumar, who was recently transferred to Madras HC, assumed charge as Judge of the Madras HC on Thursday.
