French man’s video cooking omelette in a pan under the sun has internet worried about the future

The summer season has always been scorching hot in some areas of the Earth. Enough to make people ponder switching to solar cooking rather than paying massive electricity bills. But now, it seems the phenomenon is going global. After videos of people cooking food in the sun in India, Australia and other countries, France has now joined the trend. The country has been experiencing extremely high temperatures and it seems people are now switching from gas stoves to the sun. A viral video on social media showed a man making an omelette in a pan stationed on his balcony. As per the clip, the pan was kept outside the window under the sun long enough for its surface to turn extremely hot. Then the man casually broke an egg and put it in the pan. Surprisingly, it turned into an omelette quickly.

“Scrambled eggs in a heatwave style,” read the post shared by ‘Olivier Hude’ on Instagram.

Social media reactions

The video immediately went viral online with users sharing many reactions. Some called it an everyday thing in places like parts of Indiaq, Australia, Arizona and more. Whereas others joked about switching to the sun, and “saving fuel and electricity.”“This is Delhi every day for 6 months,” shared a user.“Australian here, this is a normal summer for us. Remember to keep up your fluids.

Do not exercise your dogs, only if the temperature cools enough in the evening not to burn your dogs' paws,” added another.“In Arizona, it literally gets hot enough to melt signage. The key difference is that our infrastructure is built to survive it. Most people in Europe don't have AC, they're built for colder weather. Just because it's nothing for Americans doesn't make it any less dangerous,” one wrote.“0% language 100% understanding,” a user quipped.
