Frequency improved on Bengaluru metro’s Yellow Line; start time advanced to 6 a.m.

With the addition of a fourth train set into service, trains on the newly inaugurated Yellow Line will now operate at intervals of 19 minutes from Wednesday, compared to the earlier 25-minute frequency. 

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) has now announced a revised schedule for trains operating on the Yellow Line, advancing the start time to 6 a.m., effective from Wednesday.

From Monday to Saturday, the first train will now depart at 6 a.m., half an hour earlier than the previous 6.30 a.m. schedule. On Sundays, the first train will continue to commence service at 7 a.m.

The last train timings remain unchanged, with the final departure from R.V. Road at 11.55 p.m. and from Bommasandra at 10.42 p.m.
