US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that American forces had launched additional strikes against Iran.

Explosions were reported in parts of Iran late on Wednesday, according to Iranian state media, as the US carried out a second night of overnight strikes.
Explosions were heard in Sirik and Bandar Abbas, a major port city in southern Iran’s Hormozgan province, Iranian media reported. Reports also said blasts were heard in other locations, including Lavan Island, Chabahar and Sirik Island.
The reported strikes came shortly after US President Donald Trump said the latest military flare-up with Iran would end “very quickly".
