Mann Fleet Partners, a premium operator, had 51 vehicles on the ground at Noida airport
Noida: For departing and arriving passengers, taxis proved a reliable option on Monday, easing misgivings about connectivity with Noida International Airport, which sits around 65km from Noida Sector 18 and 40km from Pari Chowk.
With Uber, Ola and Rapido all setting up booths inside the terminal, and two premium cab services deployed in the parking area, passengers had more choices than many had anticipated.Among the budget aggregators, fares to Sector 18 were broadly in the Rs 1,000–1,200 range. Ola’s options ran from Rs 1,051 for a mini to Rs 1,151 for a prime sedan and Rs 1,322 for prime plus. Uber showed Rs 851 for Go Priority and Rs 1,215 for Premier XL.Rapido, which placed nearly 20 cabs at the airport, was offering Rs 100–200 discounts to inaugural customers. Uber went further, extending 50% off — up to Rs 1,000 — to 25 new customers and deploying 30 cabs on the day. Ola, which fielded a fleet of 150 cabs, was giving Rs 250 off to first-time riders. Staff at the booths confirmed all three services would run 24x7.For passengers looking for something more comfortable, two premium operators were present.
NIA has partnered with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to offer Alyte, an all-electric, chauffeur-driven service promoted as a tech-enabled corporate mobility solution. Four EVs were positioned at the front row of the parking area, with more on standby. As of Monday evening, fares to Sector 18 were Rs 2,871 for an SUV and Rs 3,062 for a sedan. Alyte airport manager Amrish Kumar said the chauffeurs undergo regular training and passenger feedback is actively tracked.
“We have placed four cabs at the front row while some are on standby in the parking area,” he said, adding that the service is available round the clock.Mann Fleet Partners, the other premium operator, had 51 vehicles on the ground — among them Hyundai Aura, Maruti Suzuki Invicto and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder — with five positioned at the front row. Fares were Rs 1,927 for economy and Rs 2,588 for economy plus. President Amarjeet Mann said the company was handling both passenger rides and employee transportation, and had firm plans to scale its fleet from 51 to 500 vehicles.
“We are not only handling car rental but also employee transportation,” she said.UPSRTC buses, launched last week, have also begun serving the airport — though with a significant caveat. The buses stop near the entry gate rather than the terminal, requiring passengers to board a shuttle and cover nearly a kilometre on their own.
