As India marks the 79th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this Independence Day is festival of hope and aspirations.

Modi unfurled the country’s national flag at the Red Fort and paid tributes to the freedom fighters “who contributed towards the independence of country”. He also hailed the success of Operation Sindoor, saying “The Indian Army did what it has never done before. Pakistan has lost its sleep after Operation Sindoor.”
