The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India is known for regulating the consumers and proprietors rights. Following recent buzz about issuing notices to popular food brands including Nestle, KFC, and Open Secret, the food regulatory body has now issued notices to 15 popular food brands for misleading customers.
According to an Instagram post by the official handle of FSSAI, the regulatory body has issued notices to several food business operators (FBOs) for violating provisions of the FSS Act, 2006 regarding misleading brand names, trade names, and product claims.
