Germany maintained their momentum after the interval. Musiala increased the lead with a composed finish soon after the restart, Brown added another from close range, and substitute Undav further widened the margin by scoring Germany’s sixth goal of the evening.

Havertz rounded off the rout with his second goal, latching onto a through ball before delicately lifting his effort over the advancing goalkeeper despite pressure from a defender, completing a commanding 7–1 triumph.

Germany, who last lifted the World Cup in Brazil in 2014, are seeking a return to the top of international football after a series of underwhelming performances in recent major tournaments. Under Julian Nagelsmann, they hope to re-establish themselves as a global force during the 2026 finals.
