GHMC to speed up SIR mapping through help desks

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is establishing help desks at designated locations for the mapping of voters as a precursor for the special intensive revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls.

The Additional Commissioner, Elections, K. Chandrakala and the chief veterinary officer Abdul Wakil on Friday conducted a meeting with resident welfare associations and colony welfare associations in all the Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district for mapping of voters with the 2002 SIR list, the GHMC stated in a release.
