‘Ginny & Georgia’ just had a wild run with a couple of poetry classes, an ankle bracelet tracker - and a lot of terrible choices - in the recently released season 3. If you thought all the drama was overwhelming for your gut, hold on, peaches, season 4 is going to be a lot juicier.
Season 4 is going to be peachier...
The show creator, Sarah Lampert, revealed that the theme of the new season is going to be ‘Cycles & Origins.’ Meaning? There is going to be a not-so-joyride with the deep explorations of Georgia’s tangled family background, and the things she had to do to break the generational pattern. Brianne Howey (Georgia) expressed to Tudum, “Sarah [Lampert] has some incredible things planned, and I can’t wait to see more about the circumstances that shaped Georgia,” adding that she’s looking forward to having more Ginny moments and that they would need a therapist at the end.
Who's the father?
Talking about the tangled family, Georgia is pregnant, and she doesn’t know who the father is. It could be her estranged husband, Mayor Paul (Scott Porter), or the adorable guy from the cafe, Joe (Raymond Ablack). “It’s complicated,” Howey said while laughing.“We thought the biggest consequences are how her children are changed through the process [of Georgia’s trial],” Sarah Glinski, the showrunner, said to Tudum. “The burden she leaves on Austin and Ginny at the end of season 3 is what we’ll have to deal with in season 4,” she added.
Manipulations and Repercussions
After Georgia’s kids pulled the wild card out of their pocket of framing Austin’s dad for the cold murder, she will finally get the impact of the choices in the upcoming season. While she cried for not being able to protect her children from the lives she lived, and the decisions she dealt with, Georgia is going to have a lot of fun dealing when Ginny would slowly turn into her mother, as hinted by Antonia Gentry (Ginny) herself. The release of the new season has not been disclosed yet.
