Gitanjali Complex to get AMRUT‑linked roads and park beautification

Bhopal: Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) chairman Kishan Suryavanshi on Sunday performed the foundation‑laying ceremony for road works and beautification of Rabindranath Tagore Garden in the Gitanjali Complex.The development package, estimated at about ₹40 lakh, will fund park upgrades including an open gym, a yoga zone, a walking track, a new boundary wall and gate, and road reconstruction in areas where sewage lines under AMRUT 2.0 have been completed.Speaking at the event, Suryavanshi said public tax funds must be used with transparency and high quality, and urged municipal engineers to monitor work closely to ensure standards are met. He cited road work he initiated in the Gitanjali Complex 15 years ago as proof of durable construction and said the new project should follow the same benchmark.
