In a heartbreaking incident that mirrors the Atul Subhash case, a man named Vikas ended his life after streaming a live video on social media, in which he accused his wife of relentless mental harassment and spoke of being crushed by financial burdens.
In the emotional video, Vikas claimed that his wife was in an extramarital relationship with a man named Shakib, whom he also accused of being involved in cybercrime and falsely implicating him in the past. He further stated that his wife had left their home and was currently living with her mother, taking their son along.
Vikas revealed he was burdened by debt and urged his son should be placed in the custody of his family. The case has drawn parallels with the Atul Subhash suicide, a 34-year-old techie, who ended his life on December 9 in Bengaluru, alleging harassment at the hands of his estranged wife and her family.
