Goa Institute of Management celebrates Convocation 2026 with 617 graduating students

Goa Institute of Management celebrated the much-anticipated Convocation 2026, on March 28, 2026. The event honoured 617 graduate students, capping off their rigorous academic journeys in management programmes. They were awarded their degrees by Ashank Desai, Chairperson, Board of Governors, and Prof.

Ajit Parulekar, Director, GIM. Sunil Gupta, Co-Founder, Managing Director and CEO, Yotta Data Services, was the Chief Guest of the Convocation ceremony.

Sunil Gupta is popularly known as the 'Data Centre Man of India,’ and is at the forefront of India's data center and artificial intelligence (AI) revolutions. An alumnus of Columbia University and NIT Kurukshetra, Sunil's 30+ year industry tenure is marked by visionary leadership and relentless innovation, significantly advancing India’s digital infrastructure and AI capabilities.
