New Delhi: Google has officially unveiled its Lyria 3 Pro, which is an updated version of its AI music generation model that can create longer and more structured tracks. This latest model enables users to generate music up to three minutes long and is now being rolled out across multiple Google tools, including the Gemini applications, Google Vids, and much more.

Google has also added the music generation feature to the Gemini application, enabling users to create songs using text, photos, or videos.

It is powered by Lyria 3, the beta feature that can generate 30-second tracks based on the prompts and also creates matching cover art using the Nano Banana. Lyria 3 Pro also builds on the earlier Lyria 3 model and aims to create more complete music pieces.

This latest model can better understand song structure, which actually means the users can generate tracks with specific sections like intros, verses, choruses, and bridges. This also added the structure, making it easier to experiment with the different music styles or create tracks with smoother transitions. The longer duration also gives users more flexibility when creating music for videos, podcasts, or other projects.

It has also worked with the musicians and industry professionals while developing its music tools. Through its Music AI Sandbox, Google has also tested features with artists to improve creative workflows. Lyria does not copy the specific artists. If the user mentions any of the creators in a prompt, the system treats it as general inspiration instead of imitation.

The outputs are also checked against the existing content, and all generated audio includes the SynthID watermarking to identify it as AI-generated.
