Minister for Mines and Geology and Excise, Kollu Ravindra, said that the government has taken steps to ensure quality power supply, with a strong emphasis on addressing low-voltage issues using advanced technologies.
Laying the foundation for a 33/11 kV semi-indoor substation of CPDCL costing nearly ₹6.50 crore at Bachupet in Machilipatnam, along with APSRTC Chairman Konakalla Narayana Rao on Sunday, Mr. Ravindra said the new facility will have underground cables and significantly reduce the load on existing substations, thereby eliminating low-voltage problems and technical failures.
