Govt misguiding people to cover up its bankruptcy: Sadananda Gowda

Gadag: State govt is misguiding gurantee beneficiaries to cover up its bankruptcy, said former chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda. Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, Gowda said that if the death certificate of the beneficiary is uploaded on the website, the benefit will be stopped automatically for the deceased person.

“Tahsildars can provide a list of eligible beneficiaries. Instead of this simple procedure, the govt is taking a detour to deceive beneficiaries. Whenever Congress faces failure in administration, it drops beneficiaries in the name of reshaping the scheme. It’s been their habit,” he lamented. He also said, “Congressmen are experts in looting public money. They collect money in the name of deceased persons or even a person yet to take birth. Since they are now facing a financial crisis, they are forcing people to reapply. There is no need to conduct resurvey in this digital era.”
