Govt. releases ₹2,711 crore towards disbursement of NTR Bharosa pensions for June

The State government has released ₹2,711.79 crore for disbursement of financial assistance under the NTR Bharosa pension scheme to 62,19,648 beneficiaries for the month of June, according to an official release by Minister for Rural Poverty Alleviation Kondapalli Srinivas.

“Pension distribution will commence from the morning of July 1. The government has released an additional ₹3.12 crore to provide spouse pension to 7,792 newly-sanctioned beneficiaries,” the Minister said.

Since the formation of the coalition government, a total of ₹68,598.44 crore had been spent on pensions, including the funds released the month of June, the Minister added. “The coalition government is ensuring that NTR Bharosa pension funds are delivered to the beneficiaries on the first day of every month with the welfare of the poor as its primary goal,” Mr. Srinivas said.
