GPCB key to pollution control: Gujarat minister

Gandhinagar: Speaking at the valedictory function of a two-day workshop on environmental protection in Gandhinagar on Sunday, state forest and environment minister Arjun Modhwadia said that while govt is pursuing a policy of sustainable development, the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) has the most crucial role in curbing pollution in the state. An official statement stated that the challenges before the state regarding environmental protection as the need to revise guidelines, and future planning were discussed at the workshop.
