'Greatest gift for me': Zareen Khan cancels Islamic birthday celebrations, asks for prayers as her mother is hospitalized

Actress Zareen Khan recently shared that her mother has been hospitalized and requested fans and followers to keep her in their prayers. She shared the story on the 5th day of Ramadan, which also marks her birthday according to the Islamic calendar.

Zareen Khan’s latest Instagram story

Zareen Khan shared that her mother is in the hospital. Because of this, she could not celebrate. Taking to her Instagram handle, Zareen Khan wrote, “It's the 5th of Ramadan today which is my Islamic Birthday. Those who know me closely know how much I love my Birthdays. This year too I had plans of celebrating this one in a certain way but unfortunately that's not going to happen as my Mom is hospitalized.” She added folded hands, heart and sparkle emojis with her post.

She asked everyone to pray for her mother. She wrote, “I would request everyone of you to keep my Mom in your prayers as that's going to be the greatest gift for me.”

Yesterday, Zareen Khan shared a story where she mentioned that her mother has been hospitalized again. She had written, “Mom’s hospitalised again ... Please keep her in your prayers!” In October last year, Zareen had also shared that her mother was hospitalised. At that time, she later gave a happy update. She said her mother was feeling better and was going home. She wrote, "Mom's much better. Taking her home today from the hospital. Big Thanks to each and every one of you who sent good wishes and prayers fr her...means the world to me.”
