New Delhi: After over a decade of most-awaited, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 is moving from trailers and teasers to something more big for fans to go all-in on finally. Rockstar Games has finally announced that pre-orders for GTA 6 will open on June 25, offering players their first opportunity to reserve a copy before the game’s scheduled release on November 19. This announcement will come with the introduction of the games by official cover art and a visible change across the Rockstar’s online platforms, where the GTA 6 themed visuals have replaced the Rockstar Games’ long-standing branding.
The developments will arrive at a time when many fans are still wondering whether the highly anticipated title will meet its planned debut date. GTA 6 has already faced many delays during development, with every upgrade closely watched by the gaming community.
This latest announcement is one of the biggest steps Rockstar has taken since revealing the game. For many gamers, June 25 is the date they have been waiting for. While Rockstar has officially released trailers and shared several details about the game over the past few years, pre-orders have brought GTA 6 much closer to unveiling than previous upgrades.
Rockstar Games also confirmed that pre-orders will be available via digital storefronts, including PlayStation Store, as well as selected retail channels. Rockstar also released a short teaser featuring the game’s official cover artwork. This image puts the protagonist Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval front and center while providing a glimpse of the crime-filled world players will go to explore later this year.
