Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry to convene textile leadership conclave on Saturday

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) textile taskforce will organise the fifth edition of The Textile Leadership Conclave in Ahmedabad on Saturday.The event is expected to draw around 600 participants representing the full textile value chain, including ginning, spinning, weaving, processing, garmenting, technical textiles and textile machinery manufacturing from Gujarat and across India.

Industry executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers and young professionals are expected to attend.Organisers said the conclave is designed to enable strategic dialogue, share industry insights and connect established leaders with emerging professionals to bridge generational experience. Sessions will focus on market trends, technology adoption, sustainability, innovation, exports and competitiveness.

The conclave will also offer networking opportunities for businesses.Sandeep Engineer, president of GCCI, said the platform has built momentum for practical outcomes in the sector. “The conclave has been a catalyst for forward-thinking ideas and actionable blueprints,” Engineer said. He added that such platforms are vital to strengthening Gujarat’s position as a textile hub.
