Varun Dhawan's 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' had a successful first weekend at the box office. The film, featuring Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde as the female leads, has been scoring well despite clashing with multiple movies at cinemas.

Now, according to the Sacnilk report, the movie witnessed a growth of 20% compared to its previous day's earnings. It raked in Rs 9 crore across 8,616 shows on Day 3.With that, the total India net collection has reached Rs 24 crore, while the total India gross collection stands at Rs 28.80 crore.Meanwhile, overseas, the Varun Dhawan starrer has collected a net of Rs 3.00 crore on Day 3, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 8.50 crore. This has pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 37.30 crore.
