“Hi, my loves! Happy 4th of July!” Hailee Steinfeld wrote in a brief but meaningful letter through Beau Society. “I’m sending out a quick letter today instead of a full issue. I hope most of you are enjoying the day off, carving out some time with family and friends.” But what stood out wasn’t just the holiday sentiment—it was a quiet, exciting heads-up that something special is brewing for Beau Society’s first birthday in August.

“FYI, this week I’ve been cooking up some fun stuff for our first anniversary, which is coming in August (we were born 08/24!)” she shared.

Launched in August 2024, Beau Society has served as a more intimate, low-key alternative to social media. “It’s just like having a two-way conversation and talking about all things from cleaning out your closet to topics in this movie,” Steinfeld explained. While it may seem like another celebrity newsletter on the surface, its purpose is far more grounded.

As she puts it, it’s not about PR, it’s about “creating a community that can have a conversation that goes deeper than a caption on a photo.

”In fact, Steinfeld and her team went the extra mile earlier this year, packaging and shipping exclusive hoodies and stickers by hand from her kitchen. “My kitchen became a temporary BS warehouse to get these hoodies sealed and shipped,” she revealed, showing the level of hands-on effort behind the brand.

Now a newlywed, Steinfeld hasn’t shied away from sharing glimpses of her personal life with subscribers. Reflecting on her May 31 wedding in Santa Barbara, she recently wrote, “I’m sitting here with Josh.
