Ajmer: The education department Saturday issued a notification appointing Hanuman Singh Rathore as the new chairman of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). The post had been vacant for four years.
Rathore is expected to assume charge in the coming days and will serve a three-year term. The state has also appointed Ajmer Divisional Commissioner Shakti Singh Rathore as administrator.Hanuman Singh Rathore, a resident of Ajmer from the Pisangan block, currently lives in Bhunabai. A retired govt school principal, he is known in education circles and has been active on teachers’ issues. He has also been associated with the RSS. Former chairman DP Jalori was removed in January 2022 after a board exam paper leak surfaced, after which the post remained vacant.
