Harry Kane entered his name in the record books on Wednesday (June 17) by becoming the outright leader in the list of players with the most penalty goals (excluding shootouts) in FIFA World Cup history.
The 32-year-old from London opened the scoring for England from the spot in their FIFA World Cup 2026 Group L match against Croatia.
Kane’s strike was his fifth penalty goal in FIFA World Cup history, taking him past all other players on the all-time list. No footballer has scored more goals from penalties in the World Cup than the England captain.
