HSSC issues last PMT opportunity for absentee Group C recruitment candidates before selection process advances further
HSSC Group C recruitment 2026: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced a final opportunity for candidates who missed the earlier Physical Measurement Test (PMT) conducted for multiple Group C recruitment posts under Advertisement Nos.
13/2024, 01/2026, 02/2026 and 04/2026. The decision follows the Commission's earlier public notice regarding PMT for various departments.According to the latest public notice, absentee candidates will undergo the PMT on fresh dates at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula. The Commission has clarified that this will be the last opportunity for eligible candidates who remained absent during the previously scheduled tests.Revised PMT schedule for absentee candidatesCandidates for the posts of Deputy Ranger, Warder (Male), Assistant Superintendent Jail (Male), Male Constable (General Duty) and Sub-Inspector (General Duty) under Advertisement No. 13/2024, who were absent during the PMT held from June 22, 2026 to June 23, 2026, will appear for the test on June 29, 2026.

Candidates applying for the Forester (Group 01) post under Advertisement No.
02/2026 and Forest Guard (Group 06) under Advertisement No. 04/2026, who missed the PMT conducted from June 24, 2026 to June 25, 2026, will take the test on June 30, 2026. Forest Guard candidates absent during the PMT held from June 26, 2026 to June 27, 2026, along with candidates for Male Constable (General Duty) and Male Constable (Government Railway Police) under Advertisement No.
01/2026, will appear on July 1, 2026.Instructions issued for candidatesThe Commission has fixed the reporting time at 6.30 am. Entry to the venue will not be permitted after 10.00 am. Candidates must carry their admit card along with one valid identity proof while reporting for the PMT.HSSC has stated that no separate admit card will be issued for this round and no individual communication will be sent through post or email. Candidates who fail to appear on the revised date will not receive any further opportunity.Recruitment overviewThe Group C recruitment drive covers 1,383 vacancies. Applications were accepted from February 2 to February 15, 2026, with the application window reopened from March 16 to March 19, 2026. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 42 years as on January 1, 2026. The examination schedule is yet to be announced.
