Haryana model's body found near canal in Sonipat with throat slit

A model from the Haryana music industry, Sheetal, was brutally murdered by unidentified assailants in Kharkhoda area of Sonipat, Haryana. Her throat was reportedly slit, and her body was found near the Reliance canal close to Khanda village.

Sheetal, a resident of Panipat, had been reported missing by her family. The Panipat police had registered a missing person’s report earlier this week. Late last night, the Sonipat police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem at the Civil Hospital.

The Sonipat police have launched a thorough investigation into the murder. As of now, no arrests have been made, and police are working to identify the culprits behind the heinous crime.
