Haryana RTE admission 2026: The Directorate of Elementary Education, Government of Haryana, has initiated a document verification drive for applicants seeking admission under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009 for the academic session 2026-27.

The move follows scrutiny of registration data submitted by parents and applicants during the admission process.According to an official notice issued by the department, the verification process is being conducted at the level of Block Level Education Officers (BEOs) through designated committees constituted specifically for RTE admissions. Authorities stated that verification of submitted information is essential to validate each application.Verification conducted at block level committeesThe department stated that Block Level Committees have been assigned the responsibility to examine original documents submitted during registration. These committees are functioning under the supervision of BEOs to ensure uniformity and accuracy in the process.During preliminary analysis, officials observed that a considerable number of applicants and parents have not appeared before the concerned committees for verification.

The absence of applicants at this stage has been flagged as a significant concern in the ongoing admission cycle.

Mandatory compliance required for all applicantsThe notice makes it clear that document verification is compulsory for all candidates applying under the RTE provisions. Applicants and parents are required to present themselves in person before the respective Block Level Committee along with original supporting documents.Failure to comply with the verification requirement will lead to rejection of the application. The department has stated that such rejection will be carried out without any further notice to the applicant or parent concerned.Additionally, authorities clarified that no claim for admission under the RTE Act will be considered if the verification process is not successfully completed.Verification schedule and instructions issuedTo facilitate applicants, the department has scheduled the verification process over a fixed window.

The document verification is being conducted from April 22, 2026 to April 24, 2026.Applicants have been advised to adhere strictly to the schedule and ensure that all required documents are presented during verification. The department has reiterated that adherence to these guidelines is necessary for continuation in the admission process under the RTE framework.
