Hazaribag Truck Driver Missing After Bridge Collapse Into Tilaiya Dam, Body Recovered

Hazaribag: The body of a truck driver, who had gone missing after his fish-laden truck broke a bridge and plunged nearly 60 feet into Tilaiya dam on Thursday night, was recovered on Saturday following a search operation by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).He was identified as Surya Babu (37), a resident of Andhra Pradesh. The NDRF team reached Barhi in Hazaribag on Saturday and began an intensive search operation. Barhi subdivisional police officer Ajit Kumar Bimal said the body was sent for postmortem examination to the sub-divsional hospital.
