Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday addressed the G7 outreach summit in Evian, calling for stronger global support systems to help developing countries deal with economic and social shocks.
He said that the most vulnerable nations should not be left alone to bear the burden of global crises and called on international financial institutions to step in and help them.
“Our international financial institutions should develop support mechanisms that help developing countries absorb these shocks and maintain their economic resilience," the Prime Minister said.
