The script was written by Adam and Aaron Nee, whose latest film 'Masters of the Universe', is now playing in theaters, and Jonathan Tropper. The project is based on a short story by Sean Lewis. The synopsis reads, "Their double lives collide in unexpectedly hilarious and dangerous ways forcing the two men to reluctantly become confidantes and partners on the road to fatherhood".In addition to starring in the film, Hart is also involved behind the scenes via his banner, along with Luke Kelly-Clyne and Bryan Smiley.Henry Cavill next stars in the 'Highlander' reboot, directed by Chad Stahelski, who is known for 'John Wick' and Rawson Marshall Thurber's both for Amazon MGM Studios.But the actor also has a long history with Netflix, where he starred in the streamer's uber-popular series, 'The Witcher', and opposite Millie Bobby Brown in the 'Enola Holmes' movies.
The Wrap first reported news of his casting.Kevin Hart has also enjoyed a prolific partnership with Netflix, with popular films including the heist thriller'Lift', the buddy comedy 'Me Time', the action-comedy 'The Man From Toronto' and family drama 'Fatherhood', which was based on a true story.Last month, Kevin Hart was the target of Netflix's live comedy roast, and his next comedy, '72 Hours', debuts on the streamer on July 24, 2026.
