The Delhi High Court on Tuesday said it will pass injunction orders to protect actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s publicity and personality rights after she complained of her images being morphed and misused online.

“We will pass order against each of the defendant, the prayers are wide. If we can pass common order. We will pass injunction separately,” Justice Tejas Karia remarked during the hearing.

Aishwarya Rai’s lawyer, Senior Advocate Sandeep Sethi, told the court her likeness was being exploited without consent.

“I am enforcing my publicity and personality rights,” Sethi said, adding that her face was being plastered on coffee mugs, merchandise and even fake pornographic images.
