A short clip from Ludwig Ahgren’s livestream is now making waves across social media. In the 43-second segment, the YouTube and Twitch creator openly criticized fellow streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel.
Ludwig claimed that xQc often speaks very negatively about people online but behaves in a completely different way when he meets them face to face. The clip spread quickly on X and sparked a fresh debate about how streamers act on camera versus in real life.In the video, Ludwig explained that the difference surprises him. He described xQc as someone who appears harsh and blunt during broadcasts but kind and warm during personal interactions.
Ludwig said, “xQc is like Jekyll and Hyde because who xQc is on stream is like a really brash person who can talk off-cuff, incredibly negatively about people, like people he knows in real life.” He continued, “You meet him in real life, and he treats the person he talked about like a different person.
And he is really sweet in real life.” Ludwig then added, “I think his brain is so corrupt, he views it all as content, and not legitimate.”
Ludwig Ahgren questions Felix “xQc” Lengyel’s online behavior as MrBeast video discussion adds more fuel
The timing of Ludwig’s comments stood out because Felix “xQc” Lengyel also spoke publicly around the same period about filming a major YouTube project. During his own stream, xQc discussed taking part in Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson’s upcoming $1 million video, which features several well-known internet personalities. While reflecting on the experience, xQc said, “It was cool. I spoke to Poki a little bit. I spoke with some people.”
He made it clear he did not want conflict, adding, “This is nothing against Poki; I do not want to do any drama. I think a lot of people in the past that have had a problem with me, not that I have a problem with them, are still mad at me. I feel I have noticed that a little bit, which does not really affect me.”His comments suggested that some tensions from the past may still exist behind the scenes. That idea connected with Ludwig’s remarks, especially as viewers began discussing whether online personalities are simply playing roles for entertainment.Social media reactions poured in. One X user, @drevano_, wrote, “He could’ve said this to his face but chose not to.” Another user, @You54694055, commented, “That’s literally every single streamer including yourself.” A different user, @jackcitymafia, shared that streamers may feel more confident speaking freely from behind a screen. Meanwhile, @SigfadirV suggested that many online creators are simply performing characters for income.Felix “xQc” Lengyel has often been open about controversy during his career. Recently, he also made headlines after sharing concerns about Overwatch Rush, saying he was unsure whether the mode felt very replayable. Now, with Ludwig Ahgren’s comments circulating widely and xQc’s own remarks about lingering tension among creators, the streaming community finds itself once again debating a familiar question: where does the performance even end and personality begin.
