History-sheeter arrested under KAAPA in Sreekaryam

The Sreekaryam police arrested a habitual offender under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAAPA).

The police identified the accused as Umar Muftar, 21, of Sreekaryam. Acting on a detention order issued by the District Police Chief (Thiruvananthapuram City) under KAAPA provisions, Sreekaryam police took him into custody.

According to the police, the accused continued to engage in criminal activities, despite repeated warnings. He is involved in four cases registered at Sreekaryam police station, including housebreaking and robbery, and one robbery case at Pettah police station.
