New Delh: Honey Baisoya capped off a fine week in style, hitting a final day five-under 65 to storm to victory at the DP World Players Championship at the Qutab Golf Course.The win, his first in nearly four years, earned him a winner’s check for Rs 22,50,000 and propelled him from third to the top of the 2026 DP World PGTI Order of Merit standings. “Winning here is very nice. Even though I had a fiveshot lead, I had to stay on top of my game,” Baisoya said.League auction on MondayAs many as 170 professional golfers from 11 countries will go under the hammer here on Monday for the inaugural ‘72 The League’, the league of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). Each of the six franchises will pick 10 for their respective teams, for a total auction purse of Rs six crore.
