Sadness' mysterious disappearance from Inside Out Realm of Disney Dreamlight Valley presents the players with a touching challenge in the Out of the Blue quest. It sends players on a critical mission, deep within the labyrinthine archives of the mind.

The journey through Long Term memory here is the defining challenge. It needs a sharp wit to solve environmental puzzles. The success of players lies in reuniting, restoring balance, and emotion. The path, though, is not that straightforward.Here is how the brave can cover depths by completing this quest.

Decoding Flipper Puzzles to move forward in the DDLV quest

The major and first obstacle in the quest is to gain entry into the deeper sections of Labyrinthine Long Term Memory.

It needs mastering a certain sequence on the wall’s flipper consoles. The solution is not intuitive. So, begin by interacting with the button that is positioned on the far right end, at first. Then, press one in the far left. Executing the order in the right way will cause the barrier to retract. It would grant you a passage forward—a maze.

As you get inside, the paths will split. Take the left fork, and the route will lead you to another set of consoles (two) that guard Sadness.

The pattern here is precise. For the puzzle, one must press the left button first and then choose the right one. With it, the wall will drop and reveal a corner where you will be able to locate the Sadness emotion, waiting.Have a conversation with Sadness, and she will reveal a new mission. It will set the next stage to the rescue in motion—one to find lost musical memories, before she can return back.

Locate lost musical memories to gather them

Before players leave, Sadness tasks players with recovering 4 scattered Piano Lesson Musical Memories.

These remain identified by the shimmering and small yellow notes that will be seen floating in the air. The first cluster can be located conveniently. It’s directly behind where you found Sadness. Just turn around and collect it. It will mark an easy start for the search ahead.The next three clusters need a bit more exploration. Another set of notes could be found near the initial entrance. It is close to the cart that remains stacked with the glowing orbs.The last two memories remain hidden behind the flipper puzzles. To get them, you need a winning combination. It requires you to hit the left button first and then the middle one. As you gather all 4, return to Sadness, who is at the entrance. Deposit all memories in her on the table. Interact with it once again to send them away. It will conclude your mission.
