Howrah-Kamakhya Vande Bharat Sleeper train launch: The newly launched Vande Bharat Sleeper train on the Howrah-Kamakhya route is experiencing huge demand. The semi-high-speed train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Malda Town railway station in West Bengal on January 17. It will be operated and maintained by the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) zone.

The tickets that opened for booking at 8 am (on January 20), were sold out within hours. According to the IRCTC ticket booking portal, tickets for train number 27575 Howrah-Kamakhya Vande Bharat Sleeper Express train are fully booked on its first day of commercial service i.e. January 23, with the First AC waitlisted for the next seven days.
Kamakhya-Howrah Vande Bharat Sleeper ticket price
The Howrah-Kamakhya-Howrah Vande Bharat Sleeper Express comprises 16 coaches, with three classes of travel: Third AC, Second AC and First AC. The fare for Third AC on the route is Rs 2,435, while Second AC is priced at Rs 3,145 and First AC at Rs 3,855.
Kamakhya-Howrah Vande Bharat Sleeper Express: Timings
Train number 27575, the Howrah–Kamakhya Vande Bharat Sleeper, will depart from Howrah at 18:20 hrs and arrive at Kamakhya at 08:20 hrs the following day. The journey time for the entire route will be around 14 hours.

Kamakhya-Howrah Vande Bharat Sleeper stops
During its journey between Howrah and Kamakhya, this new Vande Bharat Sleeper train will halt at 13 stations. These are: Bandel, Nabadwip Dham, Katwa, Azimganj, New Farakka, Malda Town, Aluabari Road, New Jalpaiguri, Jalpaiguri Road, New Cooch Behar, New Alipurduar, New Bongaigaon and Rangiya.
