Hrithik Roshan rents sea-facing Juhu flat to partner Saba Azad at fraction of going rate

Actor Hrithik Roshan has leased out a sea-facing flat in his upscale Juhu property to partner Saba Azad for just Rs 75,000 a month, which is far below prevailing rents in the building.The leave-and-licence agreement, registered on August 4, fixes the monthly rent at Rs 75,000 with a security deposit of Rs 1.25 lakh for a 12-month tenure, according to data from property platform Zapkey.Roshan had bought three floors in Mannat Apartments (also known as Vartamaan) on Juhu-Versova Link Road in October 2020 for Rs 97.5 crore. These were the 18th, 19th and 20th floors. The rent contrasts sharply with a 2023 deal in the same tower, where a sixth-floor unit was leased to Gujarat Themis Biosyn Ltd at Rs 10 lakh a month with a deposit of Rs 60 lakh, Zapkey records show.
