Hyderabad police arrest meat trader for selling long-stored offal as fresh

A 41-year-old meat trader was arrested by the Mangalhat police for selling long-stored and unhygienic goat and sheep offal to customers while falsely claiming it was fresh.

The accused, Mohammed Afroz, a resident of Amar Nagar Colony in Mangalhat, was apprehended during a raid conducted on March 10 by a joint team of Mangalhat police, the Golconda Zone Task Force and officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
