Hyderabad receives rain on March 30

Parts of Hyderabad received a brief spell of rain on Monday (March 30, 2026) afternoon and clouds hovered over some more areas. The city may receive showers later in the day as India Meteorological Department - Hyderabad Centre, in its forecast issued in the afternoon for the next 24 hours, stated “Light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds(30-40 mph) are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night.”

It has issued a weather update at 3.12 p.m., predicting light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds 30-40 kmph in Kairatabad, Abids, OU, Secunderabad,Uppal, L.B. Nagar, Charminar, Hakimpet, Alwal, Cantonment, Kapra, Malkajgiri, Qutbullapur and surrounding areas during the next couple of hours in GHMC.
