Hyderabad road rage: Biker thrashed with plastic bat after SUV rams motorcycle; teen, 2 others held

HYDERABAD: Bandlaguda police arrested two men and detained a 17-year-old boy in connection with a road-rage assault that left a motorcyclist injured near the Savera Hotel on Saturday afternoon.

The accused, MA Zaki (30), Md Abdul Safi (18), and a juvenile relative, all students from Bandlaguda, were travelling in an SUV on Saturday afternoon when they allegedly rammed a bike on which Syed Abed and Syed Yousuf, two welding workers, were travelling. The SUV was travelling from Chandrayangutta towards Aramghar when the accident occurred at 12.45 pm.

The trio exited the car and beat Yousuf with a plastic bat, causing a bleeding forehead injury. The video of the incident went viral on social media. Based on Abed's complaint, police registered a case.
