The Hyderabad Disaster Management and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) secured 9.05 acres of government land in Shamshabad mandal of Rangareddy district.

As per revenue records, a total of 176.05 acres of government land exists under Survey No. 626/2. Out of this, 166 acres had been allotted to the Telangana Forest Development Corporation, leaving 9.05 acres as unallocated government land. Historical village records (Khasra Pahani) also reportedly classify the entire extent as government land.
