Munnawar Faruqi and Nandini Mathur in the show
Nandini Mathur, currently seen in The Society Season 2, says the reality show pushed her limits while offering valuable exposure. “At 22, I’d be foolish to turn down an opportunity that tests my resilience and makes me question life.
It also promised exposure to a large audience,” she said, adding that the show’s intense social dynamics drew her in.Calling herself a natural fit, she shared, “The way I carry myself is my reality; my audience follows me for my authenticity, and the show appreciated that.” Describing her experience in one word —“brutal”— Nandini said, “Constant drama with nowhere to escape. But it taught me how to deal with people I’d usually ignore and keep my cool.
Tough, but definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”She added that survival instincts made the show intense: “Nobody wants to go to bed hungry. Nobody wants to go to an uncomfortable bed where rest feels worse than just staying up.” On audience response, she noted, “So far, I’ve mostly just been crying on screen… but the upcoming episodes are where things really shift—the quiet, friendly Nandini gets pushed to her limits.” Reflecting on bonds formed, she said, “I befriended everybody actually.
Only 2-3 later came out to be people I’d rather keep out of my life.”Praising host Munawar Faruqui, Nandini added, “He has been a great host. His puns kept the show fun… my interaction with him was short but total masti.”
