In his Facebook post, Sreeraman recounted how Mammootty called him, leading to a friendly yet profound exchange. “Were you busy or something? I have been calling you for so long,” Mammootty asked. Sreeraman explained he was in an autorickshaw and hadn’t noticed the phone. When Mammootty revealed the reason for his call, it left a lasting impression: “I have passed the final test too.”
Sreeraman responded reassuringly: “Is that something big? I knew long back you would pass.” The conversation then turned philosophical and sarcastic, with Sreeraman reflecting: “I walk ahead of time. I travel through darkness and light, in rain and in sun, without a stick or an umbrella. Why so quiet now?” To which Mammootty replied playfully, “I was just thinking why did I even call you.” Sreeraman ended his note with a prayer: “Ya Fattah… O Almighty Lord, protect him!”
