A few days ago, in an emotional interview with ELLE, Chloe Kim recalled the time she win gold medal at the Beijing Games but struggled mentally and emotionally.

The 25 year old Olympian, Chloe Kim, said, “Beijing was just challenging in itself. It was during COVID. It wasn't like the most ideal circumstances.”The two time Olympian added, “Family couldn't be there. Friends couldn't be there. No one could be there. By the time I came back home, I had already kind of experienced all the waves of emotion, and I spiraled into another depression.”Chloe Kim continued, “It's really hard to describe and explain. We are so focused on this one thing for such an extended period of time. When it's over, it's very strange.”
