Actor Naslen Gafoor, known for his effortless comic timing and youthful energy on screen especially in movies like 'Premalu' and 'Thanneer Mathan Dinangal', recently found himself at the center of a social media storm.The actor became the target of widespread cyber abuse, with claims that he was ousted from films such as 'Tikki Takka' and 'Mollywood Times' for demanding higher pay.Speaking during promotions of his latest film 'Lokah', Naslen admitted he initially brushed off the online chatter. “At first, I thought it was sarcasm. Rumors of being dropped from films
The online narrative accused the actor of unprofessional behavior and asking for more money than senior actor Asif Ali. But Naslen clarified that the stories were nothing more than baseless gossip. “They said I was thrown out of Tikki Takka'. But I saw that news just two days before I was supposed to join the shoot!” he revealed in an interview with Reporter TV.

Despite the relentless trolling, Naslen has chosen not to be bogged down by negativity.
He explained that he doesn’t engage with online comments and prefers to focus entirely on his craft. “Most of it is just people writing from their imagination. There’s no point in responding. Our focus should be on our work,” he said. For him, the best way to silence critics is not through arguments but through the work he brings to the screen.
“The rumor about 'Tikki Takka' ended the moment I posted that I had joined the film. It will be the same with everything else. Let the film speak,” he concluded.On the other hand, Naslen's previous film was Khalid Rahman's directorial 'Alappuzha Gymkhana'.
