ICC Women's ODI World Cup: India will play Pakistan in Colombo on October 5. (ICC)
The ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 schedule was revealed on Monday, with hosts India and Sri Lanka slated to play the opener at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on September 30.
Defending champions Australia will then open their campaign against New Zealand at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Guwahati and Visakhapatnam are the other host cities in India, while Colombo will be part of the hybrid model that will host Pakistan’s league stage matches in the eight-team tournament.
India will play Pakistan in their second group game in Colombo on October 5.
The round-robin stage runs until October 26, with the final day of group stage action having England facing New Zealand in Guwahati and India hosting Bangladesh in Bengaluru.
The semifinals are scheduled for October 29 and 30, before the final takes place on November 2.
The top four sides from the round-robin stage will progress to the semifinals, with the final to be held in either Bengaluru or Colombo, depending on Pakistan’s qualification.
